Moe Thida

Moe Thida is an engineer who worked on the restoration of the Tourist Burma Building. "I really love my job. Since I was a child, I wanted to be an engineer. I really loved to draw pictures of houses and I thought engineers are really good looking and smart with the safety hat when I saw them on TV. I only used to work on the modern buildings and this renovation project is the very first experience for me... We have to be very careful and restore the arts of the ancient style since it's a heritage building... When I first arrived here, I was surprised when I saw people treasure the old tiles. I thought they are not valuable, but later, I got to know that they are priceless."
