Embroidery

Embroidery is widely practised across the region, so our embroidery classes allow the children to explore a traditional craft in both its historical and present contexts. It also gives families the opportunities to get involved, with parents sharing memories of the craft as practised in their own families and of different motifs with significance for them. Children are encouraged to learn more and practise at home after the classes.
