Visit our pop-up between 16-22 September as part of London Design Festival 2023!​

We invite you to visit the beautiful ISHKAR store on Columbia Road, where we will be celebrating our collection of heritage-inspired textiles, developed in collaboration with weavers in Myanmar. We will also be displaying lacquerware and jewellery from artisans across the country. ​

Myanmar has a long history of making yarn, fabric and garments, from backstrap to frame loom weaving, and over 135 ethnic groups, many with their own textile tradition. Each requires exceptional skills and patience, telling mythical stories passed across generations. Since 2016, we have proudly supported the preservation of cultural heritage through training and employment for artisans across Myanmar. ​
