Turquoise Mountain and Christopher Farr shone a light on craftsmanship in a temporary exhibition at Focus 2019.

During a temporary exhibition at Focus 2019, London Design Festival, Turquoise Mountain and Christopher Farr explored the craftsmanship behind handmade Afghan rugs and artisan textiles, bringing to life the design process, from workshop to showroom. Taking over a pop-up space in Design Centre Chelsea Harbour from the 15th to the 20th of September, Turquoise Mountain and Christopher Farr put on live weaving demonstrations and informative talks unpicking the design process and celebrating the skill of Afghan weavers. Visitors also got the chance to explore new rug designs and unique hand embroideries created specially for the event.
