When students graduate from the Turquoise Mountain Institute they are not only highly trained craftspeople, they are also equipped with the knowledge they need to set up their own businesses. Students are given lessons in English, computer literacy, graphic design, and business. This programme ensures Afghanistan's new generation of craftspeople are highly skilled, confident, and engaged with the wider world.
